In the summer of 2020 I worked remotely as a marketing intern for Sela for Vocational Training and Protection of Cultural Heritage. This company has begun work in Social Enterprising, involving a campaign called “Once Upon a Taste”, which offers ready-made traditional Jordanian dishes with donations to their training program, and Entimaa’ which will sell sealed foods (pickles, dates, etc.). I loved working for this company and the research that I undertook as part of it. I feel like I gained important skills in content writing and social media strategies that can be used for other heritage projects and outreach.
